What you can do with Rowtine

Rowtine's pattern reader: the S, M, L size selector at the top, then the cheat sheet with materials, the size table and techniques. — You pick your size once, at the top of the reader: the numbers for the other sizes disappear; only yours are left.

Import a PDF pattern: the app rebuilds the sections, rows and sizes on its own, and no file ever leaves your phone. It reads patterns in English, French, German and Spanish.

Follow every project from cast-on to finished piece, with a timer that never forgets where you left off.
Break your piece down into sections (front, back, sleeve), each with its own progress and its status badge.

Your pattern in your size

Follow a chart row by row, with a movable marker so you never lose your place mid-row.
On a tablet, keep the chart beside the text: you read the instructions and the grid in one glance.

Your yarn and your budget

Manage your yarn stash: what is reserved for a project, what is free, with a warning when there isn't enough left to finish. Gradient, self-striping, speckled or hand-dyed yarns all have their place there.
Keep an eye on your budget: every yarn purchase is recorded, and gifts never count towards it.
Find the right needle or hook size from your yarn's ball band and the gauge your pattern asks for.

What Rowtine stands for

Rowtine is free and will stay free: no essential feature is locked behind a paywall. It works offline and saves your data on your phone; your projects never pass through a server. Data backup is automatic and writes to the folder you chose.

We all slip up sometimes, in knitting as in crochet. Nothing is lost for good: every deletion can be undone, and turns up in Rowtine's bin anyway.

Rowtine is also free and open source software: the code is public, and everyone can read it or contribute to it.

You don't always knit in broad daylight: Rowtine comes in light and in dark. It follows your phone's setting, or the one you give it. You choose from a wide palette of colours for your theme, enough to suit every personal taste.
